Created by Paul Samson in 1964, the Angles has become one of the best mountain vacation spots over the last fifty years. Much of its success is due to the slopes that finish in the center of the village at the foot of the bell tower. The Angles is the only ski station in the Pyrénées Orientales Mountains that is set up in this manor. The professionals who work here also do exceptional work. Lit by the beautiful Mediterranean sun, the Angles sits on the Capcir Plateau in the Pyrénées Mountains. As the sun rises, the landscapes resemble those in Canada. The first chairlift was installed in 1964, and the adventure began. Today, the Angles is one of the most dynamic ski resorts for its quality and beautiful location at the foot of the Canigou Mountains that looks out at Mount Carlit. It is the ski station with it all, and a charming old style Catalan Village. In the summer come and discover the landscapes and the numerous outdoor activities.
