For three years running, the "Béziers, Canal du Midi, Mediterranean" tourist destination has obtained a favourable decision from the Superior Tourism Council. Atout France, the depository and national manager of the label, has provided for its renewal. Atout France recognises tourism and wine destinations featuring an offer built around these themes. In the realm of these two administrative structures in the wine, catering, hospitality and events industries, some 63 establishments, 16,000 ha of vineyards and 200 km of mountain bike trails have been included. It should be noted that "Les Soirées Divines" (The Divine Evenings) have proven a tremendous success for the region.

Presidents F. Lacas and A. Caralp marked the event by inviting certified label-promoting economic players who work together in wine tourism for local, national and an increasingly international clientele to celebrate at the Community Tourism Office in Béziers.
